Yam Chao @ Verano Residence is a newly built 3-bedroom pool villa located in the hills above Chaweng Noi beach. It’s one of three brand new luxury villas, along with villas Roong Arun and Faa Sang, within the Verano Residence estate.  Yam Chao in Thai means sunrise or dawn and it’s very aptly named as from every room in the villa and from the pool terrace you have a magnificent view of the sun rising out of the ocean each morning. There can’t be many better ways to start your day.

From the pool terrace, you have stunning views of the ocean and surrounding flora. Chaweng lake, the long arcing beach of Chaweng bay, a prominent golden Thai stupa perched on the highest hill, small islands close to the coast and the mountains of Koh Phangan will all come into focus.

The villa pool includes a Jacuzzi and on the terrace there are sunbeds, comfortable seating, a BBQ, an outdoor shower and plenty of shade. The sun rises above the ocean in the morning and traverses across the pool and terrace all day sinking behind the mountains to the rear in the late afternoon.

Just indoors from the terrace is the open-plan living area, dining room and kitchen. With floor-to-ceiling windows the natural light pours in and also allows a fabulous perspective of the ocean. All 3 spacious double en-suite bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and a large screen smart TV. Each bedroom has a balcony with a table and chairs allowing wonderful elevated views of the ocean, downtown Chaweng, and the mountains and coconut plantations around the estate.

A daily continental or Chinese breakfast is complimentary and provided by the villa maid and so is daily housekeeping. We can also arrange for a private chef to shop at the local markets and create Thai specialities for you each evening. And our chefs would be delighted to take you on a market tour or arrange a cooking class in your villa.

There is a shared gym for the three villas at Verano Residence, located adjacent to the middle villa, Roong Arun, and each villa has its own key for private access whenever you wish. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows the gym also has perfect views over the ocean. It’s equipped with a treadmill, an Impulse bicycle, an adjustable bench, free weights, a yoga mat and an Escape gym ball and it’s fully air-conditioned.

Yam Chao is just 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to the long expanse of the golden beaches of Lamai and Chaweng and just a few minutes to the closest beach and beachside restaurants at Chaweng Noi Beach. Verano Residence estate has a private access road, a gated entrance with 24 hour security, CCTV cameras, landscaped gardens, abundant parking and a fibre-optic internet connection.
